Anonymous said… i tried this steps, it works but the problem is the bass quality sound its really bad, sound like a can. i think needs some drivers same with the vista. can someone have the acer eaudio for windows xp. thanks...

Try this :

1. Right click on speaker icon... open volume control

2. Make sure that "subwoofer" is listed on Master Volume window

3. If not, click Options > Properties , make subwoofer appear on Master Volume window....

4. Then please lower the level on subwoofer .....

UPDATE 4 :
Anonymous said… hi guys i have the same problem but i did notice that in the windows sound mixer subwofer doesnt affect the tuba instead playng with the earphones slider changes the tubas volume so im thinking the driver is sending the tuba the wrong chanel anyone got any ideas on corecting this

if "Subwoofer" in UPDATE 3 doesn't work, try to adjust volume level of "Internal Subwoofer" or something sounds like that.... blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
and you must use sound driver from Acer.. . (Download here)

and try this :

1. Right click on speaker icon... open volume control

2. Click Options > Advanced Controls

3. Click Advanced button

4. Advanced Controls for Master Volume will appear..... this screenshot was not taken from Aspire 6920G/8920G, so some of these settings may be different, I hope you can make some adjustment and make Acer Tuba CineBass Booster better on Windows XP.

****!!THIS WORKS!!**** - I ran Driver Genius Professional Edition and it provided me with the driver I needed to get the bass working on my computer.

I have uploaded it here:
realtek_hdaudio_226_xp.zip -
http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=b2beecda489aa05e6e7203eb87368129e04e75f6e8ebb871

Once installed and your system has rebooted, open Realtek HD Audio Manager from the task bar and click the Mixer tab. Scroll the Playback section to the right to display additional controls. Crank the subwoofer control up to the desired setting and volia, you have bass!

Still doesn't sound as good as the sound on my old Inspiron 9300 but its way better than it was sounding without the bass. Also, I'm left very disappointed with Acer's tech support as the only option they left me with was paying $60 for a half hour of support which may or may not have solved my problem, and if they couldn't solve my problem, I still would have been charged. Apparently downgrading the OS voids Acer’s warranty. Acer's tech support is apparently just as lame as Vista.

Also, in the Bass Managment Setting tab, crank the LFE (sub) up to 10.

Thank you.... Jay... btw to make sure the driver will available forever, this is mirror for "realtek hdaudio 226 xp" (Download)

Merge and Hide a Compressed File (Zip or Rar) into a Picture

All of us... of course have many secret files (secret picture, secret movie, etc)
We must hide those files... it's simple, we can hide a compressed file (rar/zip) into a image file (jpg)...

+

=
For example I have two files, secret.rar and rose.jpg and located in C:\
to hide secret.rar you must merge it with rose.jpg1. Open command prompt, click Start > Run... > type cmd then click OK

2. type cd\

3. type copy /b rose.jpg + secret.rar secret_rose.jpg

4. press Enter, it will create secret_rose.jpg file

when someone open secret_rose.jpg, it will open up rose.jpg inside secret_rose.jpg

to open compressed file inside secret_rose.jpg simply rename it to secret_rose.rarblogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
