So he disassembles his notebook... He thinks he can reset cmos and reset BIOS password by removing the cmos battery.
But on HP Mini 1000 this is useless... Removing cmos battery will not reset the BIOS password
Even you can turn on HP mini 1000 without cmos battery installed... Weird huh?
After take a few photos, I try to enter a password 12345 when BIOS prompt me to enter a password... Lucky me.. The password is correct!
So.. it's better if you try common password like 1234, 12345, abcde, etc... Before dissecting your laptop....

La semana pasada se me había bloqueado mi netbook hp 110 1020la.. y pague 10 dolares en la primer pagina de esa lista (son todas la misma empresa) y ellos me dieron un password con el que pude desbloquear mi pc.. solo les tuve que dar el s/n de mi maquina que viene abajo pegado en un sticker... que también es el que aparece cuando se bloquea la maquina y pones 3 códigos erroneos..
Estoy re feliz pensé que no me iba a funcionar mas!! jajaja

ReplyDeletetried this on hp mini 1035nr.. immediately press f2 or f12 after pressing the power button.. and you will be automatically booted to the os... after successful boot.. flash the bios....
ReplyDeleteMost of the time you have to leave the cmos battery out for a few days, the cmos acts like a capacitor and stores energy, have to leave it out a couple of days (and unplug and battery out)for it to fully discharge. After a few days reinstall and bios will be reset.
